Hi everybody,
For a little recap of the last few days: we spent our Wednesday out and about. We visited Burma, got lunch in Mae sai (food poisoning culprit), and took a longer drive back through chang Saen. It was a sweet time to talk with Ron and explore. We got back and went to a soccer game at the newly built soccer stadium. It was so much fun! Mulch and I left early because that’s when I began feeling sick. Ron said it was one of the best games he had seen. Wish we could have stayed through its epic end!
I got sick right as we got back to Baan farm. I caught something really nasty, coming out both ends every 30 minutes all night. They took me to the hospital in the morning to make sure I didn’t catch something bad and get me on fluids since I couldn’t keep anything down and was really dehydrated. Spent all day and one night in the hospital. Acute gastroenteritis was my prognosis. Brutal.
We were in a 3 person room the first half of the day (which was scary because the lady next to me was seriously hacking up a lung) and then moved me to a single room later in the day. Poor mulch was losing his mind in the crazy room so it was an appreciated blessing. Ron brought the little kids out to visit in the evening, which brought a lot of needed joy! So thankful.
We are back at Baan farm today enjoying the warm sun and fishing. Pray that the Lord would direct the last few days of our trip. We are so grateful for your prayers and have been sustained by his grace the last few days. Love you all!!
