it’s okay if you don’t know

  1. This is in line with many of my thoughts lately. In our hyper goal oriented lives there is so much emphasis on authenticity in every experience (although I appreciate this quality greatly) it results in this anxiety to perform and be always always always extracting the most thoughtful questions and reflections from every experience. ah, to just be be be. I find that nature helps me realign in this way. Her rhythms, when not co opted, call for the honor of her distinct and timely cycles. There is rest and assurance in natures rhythms, that what need be will evolve and envelop as it should in its time. Because thats what all our fear is about right? Failing.

Wait wait, have you read or listened to anything by Brene Brown? If not, listen her podcast on vulnerability with On Being radio.

    1. Yes exactly. All these nonsensical, nonpractical, nonproductive fears floating around in my head take up space. I love that “what need be will evolve and envelop as it should in its time.”

I have never heard of Brene Brown! Downloading and will listen to it asap.
